Starting as an aluminium extrusion our beams are produced by means of expansion in to an I-Beam form, with the bulk of its material volume on its extremities. With the bulk of the metal moved further from the neutral axis it allows it to accept a greater workload. 

Various extrusions are used to create 3 main aluminium beams solutions.

Amplibeams are manufactured from Aluminium Alloy 6063 finished in condition T6. Amplibeams are very versatile structural member with an un-equalled strength to weight ratio. 

Amplibeams may be anodised or powder coated. 

Amplibeams can be joined by welding, riveting, bolting or any other standard method, providing suitable design principals are applied. 

We offer a range of beams and connector to join the beams at 180 or 90 deg. 

Amplibeams have found uses in awnings, curtain wall supports, bridge stringers, roof trusses and others.
